Video1: Yuying School Introduction

This is a 8-part video which I have produced during the period of attachment to Beijing Yuying School. This first part gives a brief introduction to the school's history, profile and achievements.

Video2: School History & Campus Facilities

Yuying School has come a long way in its 60 years of journey. It stared as a "Communist Party Central Committee Yuying School" in the 1940s. Over the years, it has undergone transformational changes. Currently, it is equipped with a full range of facilities for teaching & learning, as well as for recreational purposes.

Video3: Moral & Value Education (Character Development)

This 3rd video features Yuying School's Moral & Value Education (character development). It covers the school's underlying belief, the wide range of student-centred activities (its core curriculum, cultural events, enrichment programmes, community involvement programme), as well as the provision of a conducive environment (moral values messages put up at every corner of the scool). The video ends with the values and skills that the school aims to cultivate and to them equip with in every child.

Video4: Staff Training & Development

This video features certain aspects of Yuying School's staff training and development. These include: the meetings cum sharing sessions, level coordinator's training, school-based peer observation, as well as district-level sharing sessions & post-lesson forums. With all these platforms in placed, its staff has received numerous recognitions through their published research papers.

Video5: Sch Programmes & Events

This video offers a glimpse of the school's programmes and events in greater detail. It covers 3 portions, namely: (1) the weekly assembly & flag-raising ceremony, (2) the termly Arts Festival, & (3) the annual All Round Student Award Ceremony.

Video6: Sports Education

Sports Education is another niche programme of the school. Items featured in this video includes the daily school-wide Mass PE programme, a variety of sports activities (including sports courses offered to the public by the school's Training Department), provision of sports facilities, as well as its sports achievements (particularly its swimming programme).

Video7: Teaching & Learning

This video features Teaching & Learning of Yuying School. The school's mission is very much student-centred, recognising the individual differences and learning styles of different students, and hence the need to have different teaching strategies to cater to their varied needs. Various examples (gathered from the numerous lesson observations that I have attended) are included in this video.

Video8: Yuying's Internationalisation

This, 8th video that I have produced, was only done upon the completion of my attachment. It covers a few aspects of the Internationalisation Department of Yuying School, such as its policy, IP programmes offered etc, as well as interviews of foreign students.
The second part of the video give a summary of the various school activities that I was involved in during my stay in the school.
The last part, is a pleasant surprise to me!
